  • We donate 100% of funds collected (after credit card transaction fees) to organizations that support LGBTQ+ rights.

    We’ve chosen Human Rights Campaign (HRC) as an initial recipient because of its work in advocacy, policy, and public pressure — areas where organized funding can create broad structural impact.

    It’s important to note, we are not affiliated with HRC at this time, and are always interested in hearing about other organizations to support.

  • No. Donations are processed through Chick-for-Gays, and we distribute funds to vetted LGBTQ+ organizations.

  • No. Chicks-for-Gays is a for-profit company designed to increase donations through behavior and technology. Real talk, right now this is just a guy building something in his living room, trying to make it work.

  • We do not take a cut of your donation.

    Funds may be held for up to 30 days before being distributed. During that time, they may earn interest, which helps cover operating costs like hosting, technology, and development.

  • Credit card transaction fees are no joke! At 30 cents plus 3%, anything below a certain threshold is more like donating to bankers’ rights, not LGBT rights. So we get ahead of that with a minimum.

  • In the spirit micro donating, we want this to be a light lift, not a barrier to helping. But, you can donate whatever you like here.

  • For now, unfortunately, this only works on desktop. But we’re working on a solution for it!

  • It’s lightweight and only runs on supported checkout pages.

  • No — we do not track your browsing activity or personal behavior across the web. The extension only activates on supported checkout pages and does not collect or store your browsing history. Your donation totals are stored locally in your browser and are not accessible to us.

    When you choose to donate, we process only the limited information required to complete the transaction (such as donation amount and timestamp). Payments are handled securely by Stripe, and we do not store your credit card information. We may use aggregated, non-identifiable data (such as total donations and number of contributions) to measure overall impact.
