Chick-for-Gays allows users to make optional donations to LGBTQ+ causes during online ordering and checkout experiences.

We are designed to collect as little data as possible while operating core product features.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally:

• Track your browsing activity outside of supported checkout experiences

• Store or access your personal browsing history

• Store your full credit card or payment information

• Sell or share your personal data with third parties

3. Browser Extension Features

The Chick-for-Gays browser extension activates only on supported checkout pages (such as Chick-fil-A and supported delivery platforms) in order to display optional donation prompts.

The extension may store limited information locally in your browser, such as:

• Your cumulative donation total

• Basic extension state and preferences

This information is generally stored locally on your device.

We are designed not to collect or transmit personal browsing data from supported checkout pages.

4. Mobile App Features

The Chick-for-Gays mobile application may store limited information locally on your device and, in some cases, securely on our servers in order to operate core app functionality.

This may include:

• Your cumulative donation total

• Basic app state and settings

• Push notification tokens

• Stripe customer reference IDs and saved payment method references

• Gmail authorization tokens used for receipt reminder functionality

We do not store full payment card information. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe.

5. Gmail and Reminder Features

If you choose to connect Gmail, Chick-for-Gays will access only the limited email data necessary to detect supported receipt and order confirmation emails in order to send optional donation reminders.

We do not:

• Send emails on your behalf

• Modify your inbox or email content

• Intentionally access unrelated messages beyond what is necessary for reminder functionality

If you enable location reminders, the app may use background location and geofencing features to trigger donation reminders after visits to supported locations.

5A. Google User Data Retention and Deletion

If you connect your Google account to Chick-for-Gays, we may temporarily store Google OAuth authorization tokens and limited Gmail-related metadata necessary to operate receipt reminder functionality.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Gmail data accessed through Google APIs is used solely to identify supported receipt and order confirmation emails in order to provide optional donation reminder functionality.

Google user data is retained only for as long as your Gmail connection remains active or as necessary to operate the requested functionality.

You may revoke Gmail access at any time by:

• Disconnect Gmail access at any time, which deletes the Google authorization tokens associated with your app user ID

• Revoking access through your Google Account permissions settings

• Contacting us at contact@chick-for-gays.com

When Gmail access is revoked or disconnected, associated Google OAuth tokens and related Gmail reminder data are deleted within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or operational record keeping.

Chick-for-Gays’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.

We do not store your full credit card or payment details.

When donations are made, we may receive limited transaction-related information (such as donation amount and timestamp) necessary to process payments, prevent fraud, maintain records, and operate the service.

7. Donations

Donations are facilitated through Chick-for-Gays and later distributed to LGBTQ+ organizations.

We may maintain internal records of donation activity and aggregate donation totals for operational, accounting, security, and legal purposes. These records are not used to track individual browsing behavior.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect our systems and ensure that any limited data involved in processing donations or operating core functionality is handled securely.

9. Your Control

You may:

• Remove or stop using the extension or app at any time

• Disconnect Gmail access at any time

• Disable notifications or location reminders

• Choose whether or not to make donations

• Request deletion of associated Google account connection data

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
